Captain – Kobus Nieuwoudt- South African
Kobus started his yachting career in 2015 in Cape Town, South Africa on sailing charters and experiences. In 2016, he worked on sailing catamaran charters in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and surrounding islands. He got into yachting because of his love for sailing and exploring new exotic locations. When asked what is his favorite location to which he has traveled, he says Bequia, an island in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, is one of his “most favorite places in the world.” Kobus is confident and passionate about his work and continuously strives to make each guest's experience aboard a vessel memorable in every way.

Steward- Le Roux van den Heever- South African
Originally from South Africa, Le Roux brings a dynamic blend of hospitality, adventure, and professionalism to the yachting world. After a successful career in project coordination and community engagement, he transitioned to life at sea—where his passion for service and detail truly shines. Known for his warm personality and meticulous standards, Le Roux is a natural team player who values connection and crew camaraderie. Off duty, you’ll find him chasing his next adventure; trail running, hiking, DJing, surfing, or cooking over an open fire. With a long-term commitment to yachting and a drive to grow, Le Roux is ready to bring energy, excellence, and good vibes to your charter experience.

Chef- Renier Nieuwoudt- South African
Reigning from South Africa, Renier is a highly skilled and motivated chef. Coming from years of experience working at many luxury resorts, Renier strives to bring that experience on board OUTTA TOUCH. He understands the very important role guest food plays in a charter environment and is ready to deliver a very memorable culinary experience for the guests. Renier also believes a well-fed crew is a happy crew and looks forward to cooking healthy balanced meals for them. On his days off he enjoys a day on the water fishing and playing water sports.

Mate – Jaco Joubert- American
Jaco started his yachting career in January 2021 because of his love and passion for boats–a passion he has had since childhood. His favorite location to which he has traveled is the Exumas, Bahamas, known for its crystal-clear waters and year-round pleasant weather. Because of his hospitality experience, Jaco is very good with guests and people in general; therefore, he strives to give them a charter trip that is truly memorable. His hobbies include fishing, water sports, and hunting, all activities to be enjoyed out in nature.

Chief Engineer- Wayne Jenner- New Zealand
Wayne is a New Zealander with extensive hands‑on experience across the yachting industry, working in roles ranging from dive instructor and deckhand to sole engineer on vessels up to 49 meters. Known for his practical approach and broad technical background, he brings reliability, adaptability, and a solid work ethic to every program he joins.

Outside of work, Wayne spends most of his time on the water or outdoors. He’s into diving, water sports, mountain biking, tennis, pickleball, and exploring new places whenever he gets the chance.
